Started in 2021, Kallol Sports Day is envisioned to be a day full of family fun under the sun, with sports, games and fun events for the entire family. Reminiscent of the community or school sports day events in India that many of our 1st generation immigrants have fond childhood memories of, Kallol Sports Day is a first of its kind event in New Jersey, aiming to bring community people of all ages and generations together.
In the inaugural year, the event was attended by 90+ participants of various age groups, with the guest of honor being the junior Wimbledon champion of 2021. In the 2nd year (2022) the event was even bigger and better, with more than 130 participants, with separate event categories for seniors, kids, men, and women.
