50 years of Kallol legacy

Since its inception in 1975, Kallol of NJ has been dedicated to preserving and showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Bengal. Through numerous events, performances, and initiatives, the organization has bridged cultural gaps, promoted cross-cultural understanding, and created a sense of belonging among the Bengali-American community.

Dear Kallol Club Members,

I hope everyone is doing well!

It is with humility, excitement, and gratitude that I write to you as the newly elected President of Kallol Club.

I am deeply honored by your trust and extremely appreciative for the opportunity to serve this vibrant and passionate community that means so much to all of us.

Kallol Club has always been more than just a club. It is a place where friendships grow, talent thrives, and our culture and values come alive. From our sports activities and cultural programs to charitable events and social gatherings, every moment we create together strengthens our bond.

As we move into this new chapter, I would like to share my vision for Kallol Club with you. It is built on three pillars:

Community & Inclusivity: We will continue to make Kallol a welcoming space for everyone, including families, youth, and new members. Kallol has always been and will continue to be where everyone belongs. As Soumen da always says, “Kallol chilow, acheye, and thakbeye – Long Live Kallol of New Jersey“.
Program Enhancement: We will maintain, expand, and enhance our programs across sports, culture, social, and outreach initiatives.
Expansion: We will continue strengthening our sponsorships, partnerships, social media presence, finances, and much more, so that we can continue to grow and serve our members for years to come.

In the coming weeks, we will be sharing volunteer opportunities for youth initiatives and various community engagement. Please participate, send suggestions, and get involved! Kallol Club thrives because of its members’ support and enthusiasm.

I would like to take a moment to thank our Founding Members, past Presidents, Executive Committee members (past and present), volunteers, and sponsors for their incredible contributions. Today we stand strong because of your dedication.
