Dear Members of the Kallol Family,
We are standing on the verge of a very important milestone. In 2025, our beloved club will be 50 years young. Celebrating the Golden Jubilee is no mean feat for any organization, even more so for a Bengali Community Organization founded by 24 first generation immigrant members.
Today, 49 years later, 600 members consider Kallol their home away from home. A brand, a legacy, that had not only withheld the test of time, but also had expanded significantly and reached new horizons.
What started as a socio-cultural organization now has its wings spread across Cultural, Sports, Community Affairs, Leadership Development, Kids Education and many other activities. We have a place of our own, the Kallol Club House, a bustling hub of daily activities, excitement and positive energy.
As we continue to grow and explore territories unchartered what we depend on most is our biggest asset – our members, you all. We look forward for you to come forward, to be engaged, to bring in your ideas, to feel yourself at home in this positive and inclusive environment.
We look forward to welcome members of the bigger Bengali community, to engage them with message of collaboration and embrace. Let the future of Kallol be a melting pot for all the brilliant minds, superlative talents, and born leaders, who all have one common bigger vision – to leave a legacy that lives beyond time.

In 2018, Kallol of New Jersey set precedence by acquiring a property as a quintessential gathering place, now known as the Kallol Club House (KCH). Modelled after the club culture of Bengal, ranging from the ones at the “পাড়ার মোড়ে” to the Saturday and Calcutta clubs, KCH is the first socio-cultural club owned by a Bengali organization in the United States. This is a haven of comfort where you reminisce addas with friends, with “চা আর বেগুনি”, after a monsoon downpour or a spirited debate following a grand Derby.
